A Campaign For The Environment... En EspaƱol

Kristin Sullivan of Philadelphia, PA is biking from Fairbanks, Alaska to
Ushuaia, Argentina in order to get YOU to think about the environment. There are so many ways we can lower our impact on the environment if we're just willing to sacrifice a little bit everyday. Read through the web site to find out more about Kristin - who she is and where she plans to go!

At The Moment...
EL FIN! (THE END)

Well, I can't really believe it. I am in Ushuaia, Argentina, the southern most city in the world as they say. I think yesterday, June 4th, was the toughest day of the trip but I can't be sure. It might be that this one is so fresh in my mind and its significance weighs a heck of a lot more than any other days. Arriving at my final destination in a blizzard after 50 kilometers of iced roads is pretty damn epic. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks so much for everyone's support. Although I have completed the physical aspect of this journey with succes, I will always wish and think I could have done more for the campaign or done it differently. I know I have made a few people think about about their impact. Whether or not that is enough for me, I don't know. I think I may continue trying until I get the attention the environment deserves. If trial and error is this fun, I suspect I will have no qualms about working on that goal!

Thanks again to everyone- from my home town to those I met along the way. Without you, this trip would not have been as amazing as it was.

Susanna Helen Lantz ~ February 1980 - February 2008

Since I have returned I have made very few changes to the website. However, I would like to dedicate a page to an amazing woman, Susie Lantz, who was my partner in crime during a good part of this bike trip. Fate brought us together in Mexico and we biked together for over 8,500 miles. We learned a lot about each other since we very rarely separated from one another over a 7 month period. It is very difficult to maintain composure when I tell people that we lost Susie in an avalanche this past February. I've made this page to assure that Susie's astounding spirit will never fade from my memory and her character and being will still be present for everyone to understand who she was and what she has meant to me.
Here's to Susie...
